Eleanor acquired by Crown
One of my favourite books of the year (and, from what I've read about him, one of the absolutely nicest indie authors around) is going trad published. The same editor who picked up The Martian and has done such a great job with it has snapped it up.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer book, if you ask me. Also partly posting this as morale-booster: P2P YA is not the only indie writing being picked up by trad publishers, some of the actual authors of really original and interesting stuff, like Andy Weir (The Martian) and Jason Gurley (Eleanor) are too.
