Heh. Teh Goog is auto-awesome'ing pics. I have been gif'ed!
And because someone always asks, with my oh so very unclear explanations: The pic is , me, one of the daughters, and a meeko raccoon, scruffing up the place in Verbier. The goog just dug it out of my photo albums and added the animated snow. Awesome. And automatically. I thought it was brilliant (been seeing people posting these all day yesterday, now I know where they came from :) So they are calling it "auto-awesome".
I can even relate this to a book: In William Goldman's the Marathon Man, Babe's girlfriend is outed as a fake when she says she's from Verbier in Switzerland, and Babe's brother is all "aha! you must know Claude" and she say she does, and of course there is no Claude. Or something like that. Oddly enough, my ski instructor the day that pic was taken, was named Jean-Claude, which I figure is near enough.
And I may look the part in the fancy sunglasses, but that toy raccoon is still a better skier than me :)
